The transformer is responsible for operating the electric components of the grill (the LED lights, the internal lights and the ignition)
How do I know if I need to replace my transformer?
You will need to replace the transformer if your Lights (inside and LED) and ignition does not work and you have power to your outlet.
TIP : Did you know that the ignition has a batter backup? Located on the transformer mounting plate is a 9 volt battery box that will power the ignition in the event of an electrical or transformer failure.
