Lynx Grills have consistently remained at the top of the luxury outdoor equipment manufacturers. These grills are made in the USA of high quality materials. Sometimes parts in the grills will corrode over time. These frequently include burners, cooking grates, briquette trays and ignition. Replacing parts in your Lynx grill is not as daunting a task as you may think.
Many replacement parts are still available even in their introductory grills. In order to identify the correct parts for your grill, it is important to not only know your model number but your serial number as well. This is because these grills have made many design improvements over the years while keeping the model numbers the same, making it difficult to identify parts by model alone. Having your serial number allows us to be completely sure we are ordering the correct part for your grill.
To identify the series you have, there are three ways to locate it: your manual, underneath your drip tray, or behind your control panel. If all else fails, you can send us a picture of your grill and the parts you need and we can help identify them (or watch the short video below).
How to locate your Lynx Model and Serial Number
In order to locate the correct parts list for your Lynx grill, you will need your model number and the third character (number or letter) to identify the grill series. Look under the grease tray for the rating sticker as shown below.

There are over a dozen different series in the Lynx line of grills. Two series are in the Premier Grills and the remaining series are in the Professional Grills.
The BBQ Depot Advantage — Lynx Experts Since the Beginning
The BBQ Depot has been selling and servicing Lynx grills since the brand was first introduced in the luxury grill market. No one has supported more Lynx owners or worked on more Lynx grills than our team. From original LBQ models to today’s Professional, Trident, and ProSear systems, our recommendations are based on decades of hands-on service, real-world repairs, and live-fired Lynx grills maintained by our in-house technicians.
The Premier Series consists of Series 0, 1, and E. These models begin with LBQ.
The Professional Series also includes an E Series; however, Professional models begin with L. Additional Professional Series include F & G, H, J, K, L, M, N & P, and Q. Most design improvements occurred in the ignition system, hood, sear burner, and briquette trays. The brass burner remained largely consistent throughout the years.
The following are the parts schematics for each Lynx grill series.
Premier 0 & 1 LBQ 2000–2001 (Rotary Ignition)
Premier E LBQ 2002–2004 (Battery Ignition)
The first Professional Series is E. Note: There is an E in the Premier Series as well, but Premier models begin with LBQ. Professional E models begin with L.
Professional E models include L30, L42, and L54 and use battery-operated ignition systems.
Professional E “L” 2002–2004
Professional F & G 2005
Professional H 2006
The J Series introduced glow coil ignition electrodes, also used in the K Series. These components have been discontinued and typically require upgrading to a hot surface ignition system using an upgrade kit.

Professional K 2008–2009
The L Series introduced glow plug hot surface ignition, which continues in current models.
Professional L 2010
Professional M 2011
