These exceptionally realistic logs are molded from Refractory Ceramics. Wood grain and bark detailing is then hand painted by the artisans at Empire. The vented Slope Glaze burner will provide years of beautiful ambient shimmering flames. Ceramic beads inside the burner tumble the gas to create remarkably realistic flame movement. The manual controls on this Slope Glaze burner will allow you to turn the set on off and adjust the flame slightly. Burner models containing VSM or VSR must be lit by hand before the set is turned on. These vented logs are a maintenance-free alternative to a real wood burning fireplace when heating is not essential. The super size log sets from Empire feature extra logs versus their regular counterparts for added presence in your fireplace. Number of extra logs varies by collection.
