These DCS ceramic rods are a unique feature to their grills. The tubes are ceramic with a hollow center which allows the burner to heat hot air that circulates through the center tube. The hollow center also allows them to not only heat up quicker but also cool down faster.

Note : Each radiant tray holds 18 ceramic rods.

I ordered 3 sets of 10 rods each of the Ceramic rods for my grill, they were the original size and thickness that came with the grill originally, not a cheaper thinner rods that are available elsewhere. Thanks

Just like the original

Saw some other websites that also sold these but were not the same thickness. These are just like the originals that came with the grill. Bought the ten pack and used seven of them to replace broken ones. Packed very well in bubble wrap. Great job BBQ Depot. Thinking about buying one of the stainless steel racks that hold the rods since one of mine is pretty rusted.s
