PLEASE NOTE : This product is made exactly like OEM production.  It is tube in a tube construction.  There is a rod of mild steel inside a stainless steel cylinder that is welded closed at the end.  This gives the impression of a heavy and solid cooking grid, but only has a skin of stainless steel.  We have received complaints of these becoming “out of square”.  It happens when they are dropped in the box on their corner.  The welds on the cylinder of stainless steel allow for a pivoting of the tines so they become out of square.  Believe it or not, you can take the grid and strike the corner on a solid surface and knock it back square. The welds do not break.
