Summer is approaching really fast. Here are some safety tips everyone should folow.
Always follow the manufacturers instructions. Store them in a safe easy accessible place.
Always use or store cylinders outdoors with the relief valve in direct contact with the vapor space, usually in an upright (vertical position).
When not in use make sure all propane cylinders are turned off and the valve cylinders are closed.
Make sure the gas grill is shut of and cooled before covering your grill after use.
After filling or exchanging, take your cylinders home immediately. Keep your vehicle ventilated, and keep the cylinder valve closed and plugged or capped.
When your grill is not in use. Cover disconnected hose end fittings and burners air intakes with small plastic bags, or obtain protective fitting caps from your propane supplier to protect against dirt, insects or moisture.
Do not smoke when handling the propane cylinder.
Do not allow children to play or tamper with the cylinder.
Do not store propane cylinders in places that could be of high temperate. This includes under the grill for spares.
