2. Solid, Heavy Stainless Steel and Not Optional

   The high temperatures and water vapor (from burning
   gas) will eventually rust critical parts of even high quality grills like AOG. After 15+ years of service I recently had to replace the main burners because all three had rusted through at points. When I went to replace them I found that the hold-down clips had significant rust, as well. I ordered these and I am very happy with the quality. While they look like they will last the life of new main burners I bought and extra set just in case.
   
   These clips are not optional. AOG main burners insert into the gas distribution orifice and stand on legs welded to the burner loops. Without these hold-down clips the burners can shift position when the grill is moved or when moving other parts for cleaning. This may change the position of the main burner is the gas distribution orifice and hurt burner efficiency.

3. hold down clips

   This part holds down the burners in place. It is subject to rust. RH Peterson the MFG.(AOG), could not even find this part number.They stated that the clips are only for shipping , but I dissagree.
